Salad Culture was born out of a passion for whole foods with real ingredients, a passion for plant based living and a hobby that keeps on growing.

They say you can't win friends with salad, let me prove them wrong!

Hi, I am Jenn Leslie and welcome to my heart and soul and my happy place! Two years ago, my step dad suffered a complication from type 2 diabetes. It was from his unfortunate circumstances that I learned about a Whole Food Plant Based Diet by watching films like " Forks Over Knives", "Food Choices" and "What the Health". I learned that we could all avoid lifestyle diseases like Heart Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity, and even forms of many Cancers just by eating a diet rich in Fruits and Vegetables, Legumes, Whole Grains and Nuts and Seeds. This meant my husband Craig and I needed to make some serious changes. Removing processed foods, sugar and oil from our families diet was the best choice for our health. We made this change and by doing so; I have lost and kept off 65lbs as well as cleared up digestive issues, menstrual pains, headaches, and anxiety.

 

Eating this way of life has given me a passion to help others find plant based eating, loose weight and get healthy. During my discovery of plant foods, I began to find a love for Salads! Someone that used to eat drive thru meals on a regular bases is now creating beautiful salads with raw greens and a vibrant arrangement of vegetables, but the secret is in the toppings! It has taken me a long time to get here, but what made it possible, was discovering that salad tastes great when seasoned just right!
